Dr Kei Miller was born on 24 October 1978 in Kingston, Jamaica. He is a poet, fiction writer, essayist, and blogger. He is also a professor of creative writing. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, he has been awarded the Prix Les Afriques in recent years and was shortlisted for the Jhalak Prize.
