GagaOOLala is a Taiwan-based streaming service which aims to bring together queer stories of all genres from around the world. As the first LGBT-focused media platform in Asia, GagaOOLala curates feature films, shorts, documentaries, and series from the past few years, as well as producing its own original content. This month’s bulletin is dedicated to films about travel. As we embark on our summer holidays, with promises of chance encounters in faraway countries, fears of changing relationships back home, and possibilities for the unexpected, the films below explore this eerie period when normal life stands still. Whether a road movie about friends-turned-lovers, an unexpected tale of friendship in an Airbnb, or a seaside trip which celebrates platonic love, we hope these films can speak to you.
