Lost in the Feed: The Hidden Gems of Instagram

By GAY45 Editorial Staff

This we plan to be a permanent feature.

Every now and then, we stumble upon Instagram accounts that captivate our attention. Amidst the endless scroll of this captivating yet time-consuming platform, we recently chanced upon the work of Clément P.J. Schneider @clementpjschneider. Whether through serendipitous suggestion or a direct message, the sublime portraiture of this artist caught our eye. Their work embodies a striking convergence of profound expression and contemporary editorial photography aesthetics.

Equally captivating is our current obsession with the archive curated by @cold_archive. This unique collection, self-described as a “pop alternative indie archive,” pulsates with a style that’s equal parts creepy, sexy, and undeniably cool.

Here’s the thing: all the artists we showcase deserve to see their work transcend the digital realm. Imagine their creations not just on glowing screens, but held in our hands, their textures and details experienced in a more intimate way. A small, meticulously crafted zine – a physical manifestation of their vision – offered at zine fairs across the globe? Now that’s an idea we can all get behind.
