As part of Bucharest Pride 2021, ACCEPT has opened for the first time the gates of Pride Park in Herastrau, at the Roaba de Cultura. For three days, August 11 – 13, the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies enjoy outdoor activities, film screenings, concerts and performances by queer and allied artists at Pride Park. Pride Park Fair brings together representatives from NGOs fighting for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community across the country, community entrepreneurs and publishers supporting queer culture and community. The Pride Park Fair booths were set up with support from IKEA.
On the first day of Pride Park, ACCEPT launched the #ComeOutSpeakUp campaign featuring LGBTQIA+ people and their stories of courage and coming out, love and acceptance.
